The snowy month of February began with a trip to Louisville, KY to visit with Nancy's parents. It was a quick trip, but worth the drive! On Saturday, we drove to Push, TN where Nancy spoke at a Mother/Daughter Banquet at Calvary Baptist Church. It was a precious time of fun and fellowship centered around the theme of "Instruments of Righteousness." On Sunday we enjoyed ministering at Calvary Baptist during their morning service. Pastor Carl Southerland has such a heart for his people. We left that afternoon and drove to Calvary Baptist in Middleton, TN to enjoy the evening service with Pastor Tim Matthews and his sweet church family. We then enjoyed a few days at home with our new grand-daughter before we headed to Lenoir, NC. Sunday morning was spent at Trinity Baptist Church in Valdese, NC with Pastor Scott Moneyham. That evening we enjoyed the fellowship at New Beginning Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Buchanan. The rest of the week was spent at W. Lenoir Baptist Church at their annual Bible Conference. Pastor Rick Safriet and W. Lenoir Baptist have been a blessing in our lives for many years, and this year was no exception. The Lord truly met with us there in rich time in His Word!! We enjoyed one day of R & R before heading to Nottingham, PA for a family revival at Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Gary Moore and his family have a great ministry there in Nottingham, and we are thankful to be a part of it! We also enjoyed the 51 inches of snow on the ground!! We left on Thursday and drove back to Valdese, NC where we rested for the night. On Friday we finished the 21 hour drive home in two vehicles!! A precious Christian couple donated a car for Jonathan...a direct answer to prayer!! God is so faithful!!
