FFM Online Newsletter - January 2009

The Gilley Family sang and prayed the New Year in at a Watch Night service in Albany, KY. It is our prayer that the Lord would return soon!! It may be this year! It may be today!! Our January began in a wonderful way at Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hilliard, FL with Pastor Curt Harrington. This great church is such an encouragement to us, and is one of our supporting churches. We enjoyed the fellowship there on Sunday before we headed towards Cocoa, FL and the Jubilee at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Jay Frazier. The Jubilee was fantastic, and we were blessed by the preaching of Bro. Dana Williams and many others. Bro. Lance Carpenter and his sweet spirit are a joy to us as well! We then headed towards Chapel Hill Baptist Church where we began a revival with Pastor Clint Davison. Birmingham is close enough to our home that  we were able to drive back and forth every night and sleep in our OWN beds!! God truly blessed during that week and several were saved and one man was called to preach! This is one church who truly are grateful for their salvation and love to express it! Praise His name!!

The third week we were revival in Pontotoc, MS at Hebron Baptist Church with Pastor Tracy Griffin. The Lord blessed there and we saw His hand at work! The next week we were on the road again to Lexington, NC and the Jubilee at Currytown Baptist Church. What a blessed week that was as we enjoyed the great preaching of Noah Frye and Bobby Roberson. Pastor Mike McDaniel and his family were a great blessing to us!

The Lord has lead Rick to preach this month on "God's Invitation to a Personal Revival". It is our heart's desire to see families seeking the Lord for personal revival, and especially to see fathers who will lead their families in this quest. He is worthy of our praise! We can trust Him! Will you seek Him today?
