FFM Online Newsletter - March 2010

We began the month of March in Lexington, NC at a Marriage Conference at Currytown Baptist Church with Pastor Mike McDaniel. It was a wonderful weekend of godly preaching and teaching and the attendance was great! Rick preached on the home and serving the Lord together. We left Lexington for Hudson NC where we led a Family Revival at Sunrise Baptist Church with Pastor David Wood. God really moved in that week and many of the people responded to the call to revival!! It was a marvelous week of fellowship and encouragement. The meeting was extended an extra night and God seemed to work in hearts. Nancy had the opportunity to speak to the ladies groups from several churches on that Sunday afternoon, and that was a special blessing! The next Sunday we ministered at Cherry Road Baptist Church in Memphis, TN with dear friend and pastor, Marc Drake.  What a godly pastor he is!  That evening, we ministered at Enterprise Baptist Church in Myrtle, MS with dear friends, Tony and Lisa Monk. We are so thankful for our godly pastor friends and the encouragement that they give us! We spent a couple days at Camp Zion in Myrtle where we were blessed by the preaching of Dr. Gray Allison, our adopted grand-dad! Dr. Gray was the president of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary when Rick attended in the 80's, and he is so special to our family!
The next week Rick and the boys ministered at New Hope Baptist Church in Fulton, KY while Nancy stayed home to rest and recuperate from her constant migraine headaches. The Lord used the fellas in a special way as they ministered together! Jonathan even took off of work to help out that week. Pastor Randy McLure is a blessing to our family as he loves his people unconditionally! The last week in the month was spent resting and preparing for our big trip to Taiwan!! But that is a topic for the next newsletter!! God is always faithful and we praise his name!!
