FFM Online Newsletter - November 2009
November has been a busy month, beginning with a Family Revival at Calvary Baptist Church in Campbell, Missouri with Pastor Tony Woods. The Lord truly blessed during that week of revival, and we enjoyed the sweet fellowship with Brother Jeff and his dear wife and family. We were able to swing by home on that Friday to celebrate Leah's 22nd birthday, the first that she has celebrated at home since we've been traveling full time! On Saturday, it was on to Gray, GA where we conducted a Faithful Families Conference at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Mundy. That was a full weekend, with two services and a dinner on Saturday, and 3 services on Sunday! The sweet people there were so responsive and receptive to the Word! One precious little girl was saved during the evening service! We also enjoyed a surprise visit from some dear friends, the Fortune Family! When we left GA, we were able to enjoy a few days at home before we left for Morristown, TN. There we worshipped with Pastor Ralph Benfield at Morristown Baptist Tabernacle for the morning services, and with Pastor Mark Burford at Open Door Baptist Church for the evening services. On Monday it was on to Jamestown, NC for the annual Jubilee at Midway Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Mustian. The Lord moved in an unusual way during those services, and many received help from the Lord. We are so thankful to be used of the Lord. We enjoyed a night at home on the way to Ozark, AL where we enjoyed the day at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Crosby.
The week of Thanksgiving was incredibly busy as we prepared for the holidays, worked on school, brought home the Christmas decorations from storage, and also tried to finish production on both our family Christmas CD, "Spreading His Joy" as well as Jonathan's Christmas piano CD, "Noel"!! We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner a day early so that we could enjoy the day with extended family. It ended up being a great idea, as it gave us an extra day to enjoy left-overs and begin our Christmas decorating!! We are so thankful for the many blessings of the Lord!
We left the Saturday after Thanksgiving for the Homecoming services at Victory Baptist Church in Sylvester, GA. It was a great day of celebration with that sweet church, and we also enjoyed another surprise visit from dear friends, the Ours!
The month of November ended at the Winterfest Camp Meeting at Pigeon Forge Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge, TN with Pastor Ed Parton. This sweet church always welcomes us with open arms and lots of love!
After almost 10 weeks on the road, we are so very thankful for God's grace, mercy and strength! It is so humbling that He can use us across this country, and we are depending on His strong arm to continue to lead and guide us.
